This Bordeaux-type wine glass has a tulip shape. This shape makes the astringency of tannins feel softer, because the aroma rises more easily, and the wine spreads horizontally over the tongue. Bordeaux wine and various other kinds of wine can be enjoyed in good balance with this all-purpose glass. We recommend starting with this type if you have trouble choosing a wine glass.
