This Nedis© Smart Wi-Fi Air Quality Monitor is designed to make your lifestyle healthier. It measures some of the most important particles and substances that can cause discomfort, headaches and reduced concentration.

Connect it to your Home Wi-Fi and you can see in the free Nedis© SmartLife application all the different measurements, both live and for the last day, month or even year to see if you can see a trend. You can even export this information to an Excel file and mail it to yourself for further analysis or logging. Set limits at which level you receive a push notification or combine it with other Nedis© SmartLife products to setup automations to automatically ventilate, heat, cool or dry your room.

What does it measure?
CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) – We exhale it, plants need it, but do you have any idea of the current CO2 level in your house? Especially in poorly ventilated rooms CO2 can quickly go up causing headaches and lack of concentration.

VOC (Volatile organic compounds) – Carbon-based gasses that evaporate from many building materials like paints, flooring, glues, etc. High levels can cause illness or allergic reactions.

Formaldehyde – Even though it is mentioned as one of the warnings on cigarettes it is also used in many building materials like hardboard, MDF and many textiles! Especially when these materials get wet (e.g. after a leak) they start to emit these formaldehydes which can cause irritation in the eyes, nose and throat.

Temperature and Humidity – As simple as it sounds, the overall indoor climate has a large influence on your health and comfort. High humidity levels not only make you feel uncomfortably warm, it also encourages the growth of mold and dust mites in your home. Too little humidity can cause dry skin, lips and throat and make breathing more difficult.
