The use of printer-resident fonts in the card improves performance and minimizes network traffic since less data is downloaded to the printer.

Print Chinese using printer-resident fonts. Fonts contained in these cards emulate those provided in Microsoft Windows. The Windows drivers provided on the CD that ships with the printer map the Windows system fonts to these printer-resident fonts.

For use with PCL 6 and PostScript 3 emulation.

Contains four (4) scalable fonts: CFangSongGB, MHeiGB, MKaiGB, SungGB for PCL 6 emulation and CFangSong-Light, MHei-Bold, MKai-Medium, MSung-Light for PostScript 6 emulation.

Supports 21 common PostScript encodings.

PCL emulation supports GBK in symbol set 18C which emulates the Simplified Chinese Windows character set.
