COBI IS-2

The IS-2 tank was developed in 1943 as a successor to earlier models of heavy tanks serving in the Red Army. Its crew consisted of 4 people. The main armament was a 122mm gun that could penetrate the armor of the best German tanks like the Tiger and Panther. The IS-2 played an important role in the Battle of Berlin, where it contributed to the final defeat of the Third Reich.

The mini model made of COBI construction blocks was designed in a scale of 1:72 and consists of 130 high-quality elements. When built the tank is 12cm long. Despite its compact size, the model retains all the most important features of its historical inspiration! There are printed markings and characteristic white stripes on the sides of the vehicle indicating participation in the "Berlin Operation". The tank's turret is movable and can be rotated. The barrel also moves in the up-down direction.
