Cover furniture and carpets. Make sure all the surfaces are clean, dry and free from loose particles and mould. Seal absorbent surfaces with Polycell Maximum Strength Wallpaper Adhesive (see chart for details), and allow to dry completely before hanging wallpaper.

Always follow manufacturer's instructions when hanging decorative borders or wallpaper. 1) Measure out the quantity of cold water, which is dependent on the type of wallpaper that you're applying (see chart for details). You'll get a perfectly smooth paste if you sprinkle the sachet contents into water while stirring briskly for 20 seconds. Leave to stand for 2 minutes and stir again. Paste is now ready to use. 2) Apply the paste generously in an even layer to the back of the wallpaper using a paste brush or roller. You'll get the best results if you apply the adhesive from the centre of the wallpaper to the edges. To avoid air bubbles make sure the wallpaper is sufficiently soaked. For heavy embossed wallpaper fold paste side inwards and leave until supple. To prevent edge curl ensure all the edges are adequately pasted. 3) Wallpaper is now ready to hang. Take care to keep the decorative side of the wallpaper free of paste, wipe off excess adhesive immediately using a clean damp cloth or sponge to prevent staining. Use a steam roller for a smooth finish.

Tools and equipment should be cleaned with water immediately after use. Do not empty into drains or water causes. Waste should be disposed of by using authorised disposal routes and sites.
