Both the ColorChecker Video XL and ColorChecker Video MEGA provide extra-large formats for effortlessly capturing the target at greater distances and wider angles. Both Video XL and Video MEGA are designed for shoots when the space between your camera and subject is too great to capture a smaller target. They eliminate the need to move your camera closer or adjust the focal length of your lens, allow you to shoot in the same lighting condition that is falling on your subject and minimize color casting from any surrounding light. Each target provides the same chromatic colors, skin tones and gray reference chips as the standard size ColorChecker Video but are approximately 2X and 5X larger respectively. You are also able to increase capture resolution for more accurate post-production work. The ColorChecker Video XL and MEGA targets work with popular filmmaking tools including waveform, vectorscope, zebras and more.

ColorChecker Video XL is an extra-large all-in-one durable and rigid video target measuring 23” x 19.5” (58 x 50 cm). The ColorChecker Video MEGA is even larger at 40” x 60” (102 x 152 cm). The XL target is available by itself or with two forms of added protection; your choice of a simple carry sleeve or a fully configurable carrying case. The MEGA target is only available by itself and has a 3-4 week shipping time.

VIDEO XL and MEGA TARGET Color Chips include:
- Chromatic Colors: six saturated and six de-saturated color chips aligned with vectorscope primaries
- Skin Tones: six color chips from light to dark with different undertones
- Gray Levels: four larger steps for even gray balance including white, 40IRE gray, deep gray and high gloss black
- Linear Grayscale: six steps for even gray balance including highlight and shadow regions
- Illumination Check Chips: black and white chips at two corners to better assist in determining even illumination
