Surface preparation
To get the best results with Armstead Trade Durable Acrylic Eggshell, make sure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry (new surfaces particularly must be fully dry). See Armstead Trade Datasheet AM204 for full information before use, available free on request by telephoning 0333 222 7070 or visiting armsteadtrade.co.uk. How to use
STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE. The normal finishing process is 2 full coats of Armstead Trade Durable Acrylic Eggshell, but on previously painted surfaces in good condition, where similar colours are used, 1 coat may be sufficient. When applying water-based paints to surfaces previously decorated with a conventional solvent-based paint, very thorough surface preparation will be necessary. As with other water-based paints, do not use when the temperature is below 10ºC. Coverage: up to 15m² per litre on smooth surfaces of average porosity. Touch Dry: 3-4 hours. Recoat: 4-6 hours. Drying times dependent upon temperature and humidity
Dilution note
Sealing new/bare surfaces: Add up to 1 part clean water to 10 parts paint. Normal use: Thinning is not required. Conventional spray application: Add up to 1 part clean water to 5 parts paint. Airless spray application: Thinning is not required.
How to store
Do not use or store in extremes of temperature.
