The Celestron NV-2 Night Vision Scope is a one-hand scope that offers both dusk and night-vision viewing, still image and video recording, in-device playback, and more. It’s the ideal tool for wildlife observation, security surveillance, and a variety of other applications. The scope allows for long-distance viewing of subjects up to 200 meters away. Best of all, you can capture and save photos and videos of all your discoveries on the NV-2’s included 8 GB microSD memory card for future reference.

The NV-2 Night Vision Scope works in two ways depending on the ambient lighting conditions. In total or near-total darkness, the NV-2’s infrared (IR) beam is activated to provide clear, detailed views. You can adjust the intensity of the IR beam to observe subjects at different distances with increased clarity. In dim conditions, such as at dawn and dusk, you can observe without activating the IR beam by using the NV-2’s low illumination CCD.
The Celestron NV-2 Night Vision Scope features a VGA 640x480 color display for enhanced image quality. The screen brightness can adjust automatically based on the brightness of the environment.

Capture Things that Go Bump in the Night
Want to record your nighttime observations? The NV-2 features both still image and video recording capability. Save your photos and videos to the included 8 GB microSD memory card or swap the card out for a microSD card of your own.

You can play back images and videos in the field or take your scope home and transfer your recordings to your Mac or Windows PC via the USB 2.0 cable. The computer will automatically recognize the content on the memory card. You’ll also receive an audio/video output cable to display your videos on the big screen—compatible with both PAL and NTSC monitors.

Rugged Construction for Tough Use
The NV-2 Night Vision Scope features a durable polymer chassis with thick rubber armor coating to protect the objective and eyepiece lenses. The scope is water resistant IPX4, so you can use it confidently in damp conditions or endure water splashes in the field. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery powers the Celestron NV-2 Night Vision Scope for 2-3 hours of continuous use.
