This 23-track collection features all the major chart hits Ray Stevens recorded between 1960 and 1975. Also included are many hits that have never appeared on any Ray Stevens CD, including his first hit "Sergeant Preston Of The Yukon," as well as the singles "Freddie Feel Good (And His Funky Little Five Piece Band) " and " Everybody Needs A Rainbow." All songs were transferred from the best possible analog sources. "Ahab The Arab" and "Harry The Hairy Ape" are live recordings of the original hits. The booklet features detailed liner notes by country music journalist Brian Mansfield.
