Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce a
series of remastered and expanded reissues of the CLIMAX BLUES BAND catalogue,
including this newly expanded edition of “TIGHTLY KNIT”. Formed in Stafford in
1968 by Colin Cooper, the band (originally known as the CLIMAX CHICAGO BLUES
BAND) recorded their fourth album in 1971 with a line up of COLIN COOPER
(Vocals, Saxophones, Harmonica), PETE HAYCOCK (Guitar, Vocals), ARTHUR WOOD
(Keyboards), DEREK HOLT (Bass, Vocals) and GEORGE NEWSOME (Drums).


This Esoteric Recordings release has been newly
remastered and features three previously unreleased live recordings. The
reissue includes a lavishly illustrated booklet that fully restores the
original album artwork and a new essay.
