Product Information

Debut live solo album from the feted Show of Hands songwriter and frontman, recorded at a former 19th century Somerset church.

Steve Knightley has been hailed as one of England's greatest singer- songwriters and won the Best Original Song title for 'Arrogance Ignorance and Greed' at the 2010 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards. 'Live in Somerset' follows on from Knightley's stunningly sparse solo album 'Cruel River' (2007) and 'Track of Words Retraced' (2009).

It was recorded at The David Hall in the village of South Petherton - a 19th century former Congregational church which Knightley describes as "a little gem." The 15-track album melds classic Knightley originals with his unique take on some traditional folk songs.
