Winged Migration (Le Peuple Migrateur) is the 2001 Oscar nominated worldwide hit documentary film directed by Jacques Cluzaud, Michel Debats and Jacques Perrin.
The film showcases the immense journeys routinely made by birds during their migrations. The soundtrack features the score by Bruno Coulais with vocals in English on the songs “To Be By Your Side” by Nick Cave (of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds), and four vocals by Robert Wyatt (of Soft Machine), including “The Red Forest“ and “Master Of The Field.” The soundtrack also features “Like A Breath Of Air” performed by the group A Filetta, and “The Wounded Dove” performed by Gabriel Yacoub.
