Proper Sound Pictures of Antoine Dufour CD Folk

Dufour has subtle and effortless way of transitioning his compositions in just a few short seconds from energetic and uplifting to a soulful warm nostalgia.

Antoine Dufour's fifth solo CD, 'Sound Pictures', starts off with a new original composition "These Moments" which has a killer groove and melody that is always front & center. The next track, Spiritual Groove is a live solo version of his composition that sounds better than on his earlier recordings. "Midwestern Expansion" is a piano duet track with Brad Hoyt that sounds great and the piano is perfect compliment.

"Solitude" and "Glimmer of Hope" are both solo versions of these compostions and again to my ears, sound better than the earlier recordings. "Good Dog" is a Stephen Bennet cover. As a whole, these recordings sounds incredible and gives the listener a new perspective on some familiar tunes as well as it introduces a few new ones.
