For the best part of the 1980s, THE BLOW MONKEYS were bywords for
soulful, stylish pop which combined panache, charisma and hook-laden melodies
with intelligent, thought-provoking lyrics.


The band were fronted by singer and guitarist Robert Howard (alias Dr.
Robert), whose striking good looks and undeniable songwriting talent rewarded
the band with a strong of hit records (‘Digging Your Scene’, ‘It Doesn’t Have
To Be This Way’, ‘Choice?’, etc.).


Hot on the heels of Cherry Red’s recent 2-CD reissues of their first two
albums, THE BLOW MONKEYS release a brand new studio album on 1st April entitled FEELS LIKE A NEW
MORNING, a superb collection of ten uplifting, intensely musical creations.


By way of a bonus for their fans, the package adds a second disc
boasting unique and intimate solo performances of some Blow Monkeys classics by
Dr. Robert on acoustic guitar.
