Unbelievably this is the first fully expanded UK 2-CD edition of his first solo album ‘Don’t Suppose’ from 1984 and celebrates the 30th anniversary of its release. This edition contains all known official mixes of his celebrated worldwide smash hit ‘Never Ending Story’ written by the legendary Giorgio Moroder.
• This definitive package also contains extended mixes of the other singles from the album ‘Only For Love’, ‘Too Much Trouble’ and ‘Tar Beach’ as well as all the B-sides, more archive rarities and three previously unreleased demos from Limahl himself! One unmissable highlight is the French language version of ‘Never Ending Story’ called ‘L’Histoire Sans Fin’.
• Incredibly, ‘Don’t Suppose’ was the launch pad for the now celebrated record producer Tim Palmer who went on to work with such stellar talents as Pearl Jam, Robert Plant, David Bowie’s ‘Tin Machine’, Tears For Fears and The House Of Love. The other production collaborator on Limahl’s debut solo album was De Harris, then from the critically acclaimed new romantic band Fashion.
