fans. It was also compiled on EMI’s ‘The Best Smooth Jazz…Ever’ album.

Albums’, www.blaxploitation.com placed Did You Give The World Some Love Today, Baby alongside James Brown, Manu
Dibango, Earth Wind
& Fire and The Meters.
She was a pioneer, a female bass player and singer in
otherwise all-male bands.
This definitive, expanded edition tells the full story for
the first time and includes all the singles Doris released in the run up to the
album’s release, solo and as a member of the bands Plums and Dandys.
This is a first time reissue on CD for these singles
recordings outside of Sweden.
