Made from sustainably sourced 30% wood fibre and polypropylene, the base includes a silicone non-slip ring and will protect the glass from small drops. It also protects your hands when heating food.

A word from the designer
The brief for this design came from seeing a growing trend of people using standard glass food containers or mason/kilner jars as their lunch box. Although these products were fine for home-use, they were not suited for on-the-go, being heavy, fragile and not fully leak proof. Taking advantage of the light weight and strength of Borosilicate glass, we were able to create a better solution. The design is modern but has an almost utilitarian retro appeal. Using Stainless Steel and the wood-fibre polymer base to protect the glass is a lovely combination of materials. The end design is innovative and unique to the market. It offers a durable, functional solution that will age well and is perfect for carrying your food with you and for eating from.
