Dulux Trade Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior Undercoat is specifically formulated to be used with Weathershield top coats to provide longer lasting protection for exterior woodwork. Its water-based formulation is quick drying and offers great flexibility to help absorb the natural movement of wood. Provides 6 year all weather protection when used as part of the full Weathershield exterior paint system.

Surface preparation
For the best results, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry (new surfaces must be fully dry). Treat any areas affected by mould, lichens and algae with a suitable fungicidal wash. See Dulux Trade Datasheet 531 for full information before use, available free on request by telephoning 0333 222 70 70 or visiting www.duluxtrade.co.uk.
How to use
Application: Brush only. Do not spray. STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE. Treat any knots in wood with an appropriate knotting solution. New or bare surfaces: Prime all bare wood with 2 coats of Weathershield Preservative Primer +(BP) followed by 2 coats of Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior Undercoat. Previously painted surfaces: 1 coat of Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior Undercoat. Finishing: Allow to dry for a minimum of 2 hours between coats, then apply the appropriate Weathershield topcoat.
How to store
Do not use or store in extremes of temperature and protect from frost.
