Kate E. Reynolds, Bsc, RGN, PGDip HEd, PGDipCouns. Kate worked for 18 years in various locations in the UK for the National Health Service (NHS). For 7 of those years, she worked in the field of HIV/Aids and sexual health as a Clinical Nurse Specialist and Senior Counsellor, which involved training other staff. Kate's son was diagnosed with severe autism disorder in 2005 and she is passionate about supporting parents and caregivers with practical information about autism spectrum disorders. She has returned to the University of Bristol to do her MSc in Disability Studies. Kate is the author of 'Party Planning for Children and Teens on the Autism Spectrum' and 'Sexuality and Severe Autism', also published by JKP. She lives in Wiltshire, UK, with her two children, Francesca and Jude.Jonathon Powell completed a Diploma of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Animation at Griffith University, Queensland. He has illustrated material for Family Planning Queensland, including several brochures, an education manual, 'Talking About It', and a CD-ROM package, 'Puberty Plus'. Jonathon has also illustrated 'Making Sense of Sex' by Sarah Attwood, published by JKP. He lives in Brisbane, Australia.
