Indeed, his LP Calypso topped the US charts for 31 weeks in 1956, and was the very first album to sell a million copies.
This unique compilation features all of Belafonte's US and UK hit singles between 1953-62, plus some of the most popular sides from several of his biggest-selling LPs during this same period.
