The BRILLIANT TOOLS UV leak detection flashlight set BT611020 is excellently suited for detecting leaks in R134a air-conditioning systems. A special, fluorescent additive is fed into the cooling circuit. If you then inspect the components with a UV light lamp, leaks will be clearly visible when viewed through the yellow UV protective glasses, even on engines smeared with oil and from greater distances. Unlike forming gas, UV leak detection is even suitable for detecting the smallest leaks. When it comes to finding vibration leaks, it’s the only method there is.
