Live! From Texas is The Derailers’ first live album, recorded at various clubs in Texas over the last year.
The CD features some of the most popular songs from their nine studio albums, as well as two concert favorites never before issued on album.
The album was recorded live at various venues in Texas, including the legendary Gruene Hall — the oldest continually running dance hall in Texas, and the Central Texas birthplace to many great songwriters and musicians, including George Strait, Lyle Lovett, Joe Ely, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, and many more.
The CD features two tracks The Derailers have been performing in concert for years, but have never recorded: The Everly Brothers should-have-been hit, proto-garage rock classic, “You’re My Girl,” and “Come On,” written by Wynn Stewart.
