The Microchip PD-9501GCS is a Media converter with PoE functionality. It has total of 3 ports that can be active simultaneously. Data input can be via SFP module or via the RJ45 port, the output will be data and power up to 60W.
The media converter offers unique solution to power long-range installations where the data input comes over fiber. Standard SFP modules can be used (SM or MM modules).
The 9501GCS complies with IEEE 802.3bt type 3 and will provide PoE after detection, the PoE port will provide the power level needed by the end device offering a safe solution for all types of applications starting with IEEE 802.3af loads and up to IEEE 802.3bt 4-pairs loads.
