Having brought their esoteric funk leanings to Prince & The Revolution through the purple reign of the early 80s, Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman split to pursue their own maverick musical path in 1986. Fruit At The Bottom, their second and most commercially successful album, saw the duo (who recently won their first Emmy for the Nurse Jackie score) at their most vivaciously funky and radio-friendly, including the hit single Are You My Baby?
Included on this Special Edition CD of 16 remastered tracks are: The original 1989 album containing the singles Are You My Baby? , Lolly Lolly and Satisfaction , written and produced by Wendy & Lisa.
