The Fragrance
Sensual and intriguing, the fragrance lays on the skin, revealing its most mysterious nuances. Scent evokes the transparency of satin that enhances the sensuality of a one-of-a-kind, unconventional femininity. The fragrance opens with the transparency of mother-of-pearl hibiscus, softened further by notes of jasmine tea. Gradually, the perfume turns into a rich and luminous elixir of refined oriental rose and sensual jasmine sambac. The dry-down reveals a bold character, thanks to the blend of ambergris, vanilla, sandalwood and patchouli. Scent is a multifaceted composition that states the inimitable style of a strong and determined woman.

Since he was a child, Laurent was keen to discover how things were made, going well beyond the first impression. This curiosity leads him to undertake Biochemistry studies, successfully completed. At the age of 16, during his studies, he approaches the world of perfumery staring at a lady who was mixing ingredients to create an Eau de Cologne.

He began study as a self-taught the greatest fragrances of the past, trying to reproduce and reinterpret them, creating new concepts.

He worked along other creators, like Dominique Ropion, his mentor over the years of collaboration with IFF, creating iconic fragrances.

ORIGIN: national flower of Hawaii and Malaysia, Hibiscus is a genus of Malvaceae. It comprises about 300 species of trees, shrubs and herbal plants. Hibiscus Trionum is native of Africa and gives cream-white flowers with a peculiar purple at the its center.

EXTRACTION: since it can’t be extracted with traditional methods, it is reproduced with the sophisticated LivingTM technique.
