Chocobo and friends are off on a quest to enter a new racing tournament with an unbelievable prize: a single wish for anything their heart desires! You’ll meet many interesting characters and fellow competitors along the way, all vying for victory. Unlock new playable characters† and exciting new courses† as the story unfolds, and complete extra objectives to earn even more goodies!

A spellbinding contest
Drift your way around a host of racetracks, inspired by locales from across the Chocobo and FINAL FANTASY series such as FINAL FANTASY VII’s Gold Saucer and Alexandria from FINAL FANTASY IX.

By collecting Magicite during the race, you’ll be able to unleash powerful spells to flummox your opponents. Toast ‘em with fireballs, stop them in their tracks with a whirlwind, or leave a trail of watery hazards in your wake. Stacking the same Magicite will make your spells even more potent, so use them strategically to come out on top!

Racers, start your engines!
Choose from a colourful cast of characters, each with their own unique ability that’ll help you get to the front of the pack and fend off your rivals. Collect crystals scattered across the track, build up your Ability Gauge, and fire at will!

Can you bag a tournament triumph?
Take on up to 63 other players online** in the intense tournament mode known as the Chocobo GP! Each tournament sees groups of eight players take to the track across several rounds, with all sorts of loot awaiting those drivers who can progress to the final and claim the top spot.

Mixing it up
There are a whole host of other modes for you to put your racing skills to the test, either by yourself or with friends in online and local multiplayer bouts! Accumulate points across four races in succession in Series Race†, pit yourself against the clock in Time Attack mode†, or tweak the rules to your liking in Custom Race†.

Seasonal surprises await!
Regular seasons offer the chance to grab extra goodies! Win races to bag yourself GP points, unlocking new collectibles as you go! Seasons refresh regularly so be sure to keep an eye out for updates in-game to see the latest rewards on offer. You can also pick up a Prize Pass (sold separately in-game) each season to earn even more rewards.
