All the active ingredients in Panier des Sens products have been selected for their cosmetic quality and their Provencal history. However, one of them stands out, due to its distant origin and its universal benefits. Shea is a natural active ingredient derived from the shea nut, a wild tree from West Africa: Butyrospermum Parkii. This exceptionally robust tree can live up to three centuries!

From the nut, a very rich beige paste is extracted which will be then worked into butter. The shea oil is obtained by filtering the Shea Butter at low temperature. Enriched in fatty acids and unsaponifiable matter, it has nourishing, regenerating and softening properties. It also helps the skin to better defend itself against dehydration and external aggressions

Faithful to the artisanal technique of perfuming, these soaps are delicately wrapped in a paper case to preserve their freshness.

Their vegetable base combined with a soft, delicately scented foam, leaves the skin velvety and silky. Extremely gentle, the fatty acids and shea oil provide skin protection while preserving the soap's cleansing power.
