Like a mischievous smile Eau Sans Pareil, water without compare, is full of promise and shimmering allure. Its enthusiasm sparkles with innocent, watery fruits (mandarin, kumquat, raspberry) but whilst crisp, this chypre is never sharp. A soft roundness displays biscuit-like sweet comfort in a floral orchestration (jasmine, rose, lily of the valley) shaped with the unidentifiable-but-there liquorice and clove. The powdery layers of orris swirl into a darker home: patchouli, vetiver, oakmoss and amber crystals that add depth to the lightness of this radiant abstract scent.
