Ingredients
PURIFIED WATER
Water is an essential component of the human body (making up 70% of the whole). As well as hydrating the organism, water helps to purify and cleanse. UNICSKIN bases its formulas on purified water, which is treated prior to use to ensure absolute purity and quality. Water helps to purify and hydrate, as well as combat premature aging of the skin. Purified water also optimizes the properties of the concentrated active ingredients.
VEGETABLE STEM CELLS, Orange tree stems
These stem cells contain amino acids, particularly proline and betaines, in addition to organic acids, sugars, peptides and proteins. Extracted from oranges, they amplify the expression of genes capable of improving the structure of the extracellular matrix. They give the skin a refreshed look, smoothing out wrinkles and improving its overall appearance. By regenerating its elastic properties, they can make skin look 12 years younger.
CELLDETOX®
This is a major activator of the cellular detoxification process, combating protein oxidation and restricting lipid peroxidation. It causes shine and luminosity to immediately return to tired and damaged skin.
VEGETABLE PROTEOGLYCANS
Proteoglycans are natural molecules that enhance the skin’s mechanical and support properties, generating a sponge effect thanks to their water-absorbent qualities, ensuring that the skin remains completely hydrated. Proteoglycans of plant origin are obtained from soybeans and offer the skin additional benefits that molecules of animal origin cannot. Chronic exposure to UV light visibly impairs elastic and collagen fibres, causing non-functional accumulation of GAGs in the dermis. The effects of proteoglycans on connective tissue include the following:
- Increased cell proliferation and metabolism.
- Increased turnover of fatty acids.
- Anti-inflammatory action.
- Accelerated healing processes.
- Increased cell connection with the extracellular components around them.
- Greater communication between cells.
- Performing structural functions within connective tissue.
- Regulating the aqueous content of connective tissue and its capacity for water retention.
All of which bolsters the skin’s mechanical resistance against shocks and abrasions, while also creating a barrier against certain bacteria that may otherwise invade the tissue.
VITAMIN C
Vitamin C reinforces the skin’s natural glow and is a fantastic antioxidant to combat the signs of aging. One of the main skin benefits of Vitamin C is that it activates collagen synthesis. It effectively stimulates the fibres that help keep skin smooth, supple and youthful. Vitamin C is also very effective at clearing up the dark blotches and discoloration that tend to appear over time, known as melasma.
VITAMIN E
Vitamin E has powerful natural skin regeneration properties. It is a highly effective anti-aging agent and does wonders for clearing up dark patches on the face caused by the sun or the passage of time. It protects the skin against UVB rays, external agents and contamination. Furthermore, Vitamin E has numerous beneficial properties to help prevent and treat acne, skin blemishes and peeling. It is therefore highly recommended for the treatment of scarring, skin marks and burns. Likewise, Vitamin E significantly enhances the action of Vitamin C.
VITAMIN F
Vitamin F helps to restore the skin’s natural barriers. The fatty acids found in Vitamin F are precursors of the molecules that bolster the skin’s resistance against the external attacks that it faces daily. Furthermore, the vitamin helps to prevent water loss from the skin, ensuring your face remains nourished and hydrated, while impeding the formation of wrinkles and blemishes.
