Ring control
Like the Series 8 ovens, our Series 8 hoods are equipped with an intuitive control ring. All it takes is a slight rotation of the central stainless-steel ring to select the desired power level for the hood. The setting selected is clearly indicated on the 7-segment display inside the ring. In addition to the power settings, you can also activate added functions such as after-running or your preferred lighting level by the control. Thanks to the filter saturation display, you always know when the filter needs cleaning. With these controls and the integrated control ring, not only can you access all important hood functions directly but your hood’s appearance perfectly matches that of the Series 8 ovens.

The smart way to use your hood and hob.
Multitasking in the kitchen can often prove more stressful than enjoyable. AutoControl enables you to control your Wi-Fi-synced hood and hob at the touch of a button. From your smart device you can program your hood to turn on the fan and lighting when turning on your hob – or set it to automatically run for 20 minutes after the hob is turned off. With the ventilation and lighting taken care of, you can attend to more important things, like dessert.

Out of sight, out of mind: When it comes to the filters in our hoods we often forget to check if they need to be changed. With Home Connect you can now check the state of your hood’s filters, and receive valuable maintenance information. Simply log onto the app to check the carbon and grease saturation of your filters and whether a replacement is necessary.

Thanks to low noise levels you hear: nothing.
Your guests are not alone in appreciating a relaxed cook. So you can chat with your guests while cooking, we have made our recirculation cooker hoods so quiet you hardly notice them. Generally, a swishing sound is generated by the noise of the motor itself and the air flow, depending on the level of counterpressure. On ducted models, 50 % of the noise is ducted to the outside. Bosch cooker hoods with the CleanAir module generate up to 3 dB(A) less noise than conventional recirculation systems while offering the same performance.

Automatically absorbs unpleasant odours.
The PerfectAir sensor constantly monitors the air and automatically adapts the power level to the rising vapour and odours – continuously, precisely, and independently of the power settings. At the same time, it reduces the noise level by activating only the minimal extraction level required. A positive side effect: no more annoying finger marks on the controls. When you’ve finished cooking, the fan continues to run until the kitchen air is cleared of all unpleasant odours.

Metal grease filter
Ducted and recirculation hoods require metal grease filters to filter grease and other solid particles out of the extracted air. To keep these filters operating at maximum efficiency, clean them about once a month either by hand or in the dishwasher.

Hob Hood Control
Control your hood via your hob with Hob Hood Control and selected Bosch hobs. Both the hob and the hood are equipped with a Wi-Fi module, enabling them to directly connect to each other securely. As soon as your hob is turned on, your hood is also switched on and thanks to the PerfectAir sensor, starts extracting as soon as you start cooking. When you’re done cooking, the hood automatically switches off after a brief run-on time, so you can be sure that unpleasant kitchen odours really do disappear. If you want to control the hood directly, just activate manual mode on the hob controls with the touch of a finger. In addition to the extraction rate, you can also control the lights of the hood via the hob.

No matter whether you have an open-plan kitchen and living-room or a small, closed-off kitchen. We offer the optimum air volume for kitchens of all sizes. Air should be exchanged 6 to 12 times an hour to ensure a consistently pleasant ambience. To do so, the air delivery volume or power of the cooker hood must be appropriate to the room volume.
