The BRILLIANT TOOLS brake fluid tester BT706001 is suitable for electronically determining the water content in brake fluid. Its compact shape allows service technicians to carry it in their pockets along with them. The brake fluid’s status is quickly determined and displayed as one of five levels (green - yellow - red).
Green: Battery ok, no water content
Green - yellow: < 1% water content
Green - yellow - yellow: approx. 2% water content
Green - yellow - yellow - red: approx. 3% water content - brake fluid change recommended
Green - yellow - yellow - red - red: at least 4% water content - DANGER! Brake fluid change needed!
