Surface preparation
To get the best results with Armstead Trade Contract Matt, make sure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry (new surfaces particularly must be fully dry). See Armstead Trade Datasheet AM201 for full information before use, available free on request by telephoning 0333 222 7070 or visiting armsteadtrade.co.uk. Before surface preparation, read the adjacent information about old lead paints.
How to use
STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE. On very absorbent surfaces apply a sealing coat of thinned Armstead Trade Contract Matt (up to 1 part clean water to 5 parts paint). The normal finishing process is 1 or 2 full coats of Armstead Trade Contract Matt. Coverage up to 15m²/l on smooth surfaces of average porosity. Touch Dry: 1-2hours. Recoat: 2-4 hours. Drying time dependent upon temperature and humidity.
Dilution note
Sealing new/bare surfaces: Add up to 1 part clean water to 5 parts paint. Normal use (not to be exceeded): Thinning is not required. Conventional spray application: Add up to 1 part clean water to 5 parts paint. Airless spray application: Thinning is not required.
How to store
Do not use or store in extremes of temperature.
Disposal & recycling

Tool cleaning
After use, remove as much paint as possible from equipment before cleaning with water.
