Surface preparation
Remove loose or flaking material. Ensure surfaces to be painted are clean (no dirt, grease or flaking paint) and dry. Areas affected by mould, lichen, algae or moss should be treated with Weathershield Multi-Surface Fungicidal Wash. For best results, surfaces that remain powdery or chalking after preparation should be sealed with a primer. This will provide a sound and stable substrate for painting. Surface defects should be repaired using the appropriate Polycell product.
How to use
For best results, ensure the wall is dry before paint application. Apply 2 coats using a suitable brush or roller. Leave 4 hours between coats. TIP: if using more than 1 can, it is advisable to mix them together in a larger container or finish in a corner before starting a new can. Do not use on common or Fletton bricks. Apply only in dry conditions, above 10°C and when bad weather is not forecast. Leave 4 hours to dry.
How to store
Store paint in dry conditions and protect from extreme temperatures.
Disposal & recycling
Don't waste unwanted paint! Leftover product may be taken to a Community RePaint collection point. Make a small difference to someone else at communityrepaint.org.uk
Tool cleaning
Remove paint from the brush or roller with a cloth and then wash it with water.
HSE note
Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Contains: 1,2-Benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one, C(M)IT/MIT(3:1), 2-octyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one. May produce an allergic reaction. This paint contains a biocidal product for the preservation of the dry film. Contains: Terbutryn (CAS 886-50-0), OIT (CAS 26530-20-1), Zinc pyrithione (CAS 13463-41-7).
