NikolaTesla Unplugged is Elica’s new proposal, marking a further turning point in the aesthetics, features and usage of extractor hobs. Natural interaction for guaranteed great cooking results.

NikolaTesla Unplugged is controlled through fixed click-release knobs with analog touch & feel, providing quick and intuitive access to its features. All elements are incorporated into a bold-lined appearance, developed to intelligently separate the cooking zone from the control area. An elegant shock-resistant bulkhead protects the control area from every possible contact with cookware and from any unwanted spills.

The bold style knobs give Nikolatesla Unplugged a professional, robust and high-quality look. Their perfect grip texture covers an extremely stable internal structure, while the magnetic release of the outer cover makes cleaning and maintenance operations easy and precise. Smooth and easy cleaning operations of the hob are also guaranteed by the central glass flap, which conceals the extraction area, activating it only when necessary.

The powerful extraction system, positioned in the center of the hob, guarantees high fume capture levels, as it far exceeds their rising speed.

NikolaTesla Unplugged is equipped with three automatic cooking features: Melting, thanks to which it is no longer necessary to stir delicate ingredients so they don’t burn onto the bottom of the pot, Warming, that guarantees proper heat levels for slow cooking, like for sauces and creams, in addition to keeping dishes warm, and Simmering, that prevents the overflowing of boiling water for more vivacious cooking.

Ceramic HP Filter. Performance is maintained by simply regenerating in an oven and lasts for up to 5 years

Delay Switch Off. May be used in order to leave the hood on even after cooking to remove stubborn odours

Easy Maintenance. Filters can be easily accessed and removed so they can be washed or replaced

Maintenance Alarm. Features an indicator light that alerts user when filters need to be washed/replaced

Total Integration. Seamlessly integrated into the kitchen preserving the cleanest of lines

Bridge Zones. Lets you merge 2 adjacent cooking zones, this model has two Bridge Zones

Child Lock. Prevents the hobs cooking zones or extraction from being turned on accidentally

Fast Boiling. Set at maximum speed for 10 minutes bringing contents to the boil 30% faster, in comparison to common induction hobs on the market

Pot Detector. Automatically detects the pot on the cooking area and provides heat only when it is correctly positioned

Tasty Fry. Allows oil to reach an ideal frying temp. (180 degrees) in half the time, in comparison to traditional hobs. Food absorbs less oil, resulting in healthier dishes
