Akyga AK-SC-E03 wire connector Type 2 Garnet

The Akyga® AK-SC-E03 plug has a Type 2 (IEC62169-2) male connector also known as Mennekes. This is the most popular type of connector on the European Electric Vehicle market. It is used to connect the cable to the EVSE charging station. The old connector is worn out and no longer suitable for anything? No problem! Use this accessory to replace the damaged plug or to assemble your own electric vehicle charging cable. The high quality construction guarantees resistance to drops and pressure caused by accidental run over. What's more, the silver-plated connectors with increased resistance allow the plug to carry a current of 32 A. This makes it possible to use it in both single and three-phase installations.

The plug is supplied with a 220 Ω resistor, which is necessary for proper vehicle charging. The installation should be done by a suitably qualified person. Incorrect installation of the connector may cause damage to property and loss of health or life (e.g. by electrocution).
