Product Information
This midspan delivers a power output of up to 120 W. Using portcast technology, it enables both audio and I/O connectivity to your Axis PTZ cameras. Plus, an SFP port supports both network and fiber installations.
Smart restart
AXIS TU8005 not only powers the camera, it also monitors the status in the background with regular signal checks. If there’s no response within fifteen minutes, smart restart functionality in the midspan will automatically restart the camera, helping ensure reliable uptime.
Add connectivity
This midspan makes it easy to add two-way audio and I/O connectivity to selected cameras. With portcast technology, it uses the camera’s IP address to provide seamless, camera-integrated audio and I/O connectivity. This enables audio and video in one stream over the network with no extra VMS license needed. Plus, it supports both digital and unbalanced microphones.
Add power possibilities
AXIS TU8005 delivers up to 120 W and can be used to power selected PTZ cameras. Featuring a built-in SFP slot, it’s perfect for long-distance installations. And remote on/off functionality with I/O makes it possible to save power if needed. Furthermore, this 120 W midspan is compatible with IEEE 802.3bt, IEEE 802.3af, IEEE 802.3at, and Axis High PoE.
