The DGS-712 offers a wide variety of Gigabit Ethernet connectivity options for data centers, enterprise wiring closets, and service provider transport applications. The DGS-712 is an external transceiver designed for insertion into SFP slots of network devices for transmission and reception of data signals from fiber ports. These transceivers provide Gigabit operation and physical compactness to deliver the speed, reliable data transfer, and deployment flexibility that today’s networks require.
