Product Information

Portal 2 is a first person shooter with a puzzle game twist. You play as Chell, a human woman who has been trapped in stasis for several hundred years inside the Aperture Science facility. At the outset of the single player campaign you`re given a special weapon to help you in your quest to escape.
This is the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device (ASHPD), or portal gun. The device allows you to create portal openings between certain types of flat plains in each of the environments you encounter throughout the game. Using it is simple: press the R1 and L1 buttons to create entries and exists, and the R2 button to use the portal gun`s fine aim.
Once you get to grips with it, the action kicks in and you`re tasked with traversing a series of rooms to complete a variety of brain-teasing puzzles in order to escape the clutches of an evil artificial intelligence called GLaDOS (Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System).
To do this, you`re going to have to think fast and utilise the portal gun at every turn. Here`s a tip - before you begin placing portal openings in a room, spend a little time looking around and examining possible routes out of each one. Often, the simplest and quickest way to escape is right there in front of you.
